Hosted by Christina Ardel, MA, BCBA, Clinical Care Coordinator at the Autism and Developmental Disorders Research Program, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford Medicine.

When behavioral challenges arise for children, how can we intervene? How can we teach new behaviors or skills? And, in particular, how can we apply this to supporting the development of language and social skills? Join Christina Ardel, MA, BCBA, from the Autism and Developmental Disorders Research Program at Stanford for a conversation around behavioral strategies to teach language and social skills in naturalistic settings. In addition, she will share an overview of community-based resources/interventions to work on these skill areas. This talk will particularly consider supporting neurodivergent children, however the suggested strategies and resources are relevant to any child and family.
