It’s often the small things that make a difference, and fine-motor control—the ability to control your fingers and wrists to manipulate various objects for many purposes—is a prime example. You might have heard about its value for gripping a pencil for writing and drawing, but this skill touches on children’s ability to explore the environment, access materials for play, represent ideas, and even learn early math skills. Join us to learn more about the far reach of fine-motor skills and take home playful, appropriate ideas for how to help your child work their muscles.

Hosted by Head Teachers Jeanne Zuech and Peckie Peters and Teacher Quan Ho.
