Coffee Talk: "Quality Children's Literature: The Cornerstone of Early Literacy Learning"

Why is reading aloud and having access to quality children's books important and how does it help in young children's development? Quality children’s literature is the cornerstone of early literacy learning. The Center PM teaching team will help to evaluate what 'quality' means when choosing books, help adults look for books that will engage children and invite them into early or independent reading, and share books and book lists to build your library with quality children’s literature.
