Coffee Talk: "Facing Failure: Developing a growth mindset through the early years"

The way in which you praise a child’s accomplishments can have a significant influence on the type of mindset that a child develops. What is intended as supportive, confidence-boosting praise can have hidden, unintended implications. In addition, all children are born with an innate desire to learn and grow. Keeping that love of learning alive can take some thoughtful effort on the part of parents and teachers. Join us to learn how you can support a child’s continued interest in learning in the face of challenge and failure.
