Coffee Talk: "Children's Literature that Supports Social and Emotional Development"

Location
Online via Zoom (link provided in Friday Bing Bulletin)

As we continue to navigate the changes in our social world caused by the pandemic, finding ways to promote children's social and emotional development continues to be important at home and at school. Children's literature provides an engaging way to foster social-emotional learning (SEL) through story, while also activating their imagination. Rather than directly teaching a specific skill, many quality children’s stories weave in social and emotional themes you can explore with your children. Join the East PM team for a conversation about children’s books that incorporate empathy, friendship, and a range of social and emotional competencies.

Hosted by the East PM teaching team.
