Bing Nursery School Performance Series: Oran Etkin

Oran Etkin is an internationally acclaimed jazz clarinetist and composer and founder of the Timbalooloo method of introducing young children to music.

 

Join Etkin and his friend Clara Net (his clarinet) on a musical journey around the world! They make new instrument friends like the mbira (from Zimbabwe), kopuz (from Turkey), balalaika (from Russia), guzheng (from China) and shamisen (from Japan) during their travels. The instruments speak to each other through music, telling a story of friendship and understanding.
