The Kordestani Family Program for Parents and Educators (KPPE)

Bing aspires to foster a broader community dedicated to improving the lives of young children and their families. The Kordestani family, through their commitment to early childhood education, endowed a fund that allows Bing to continue offering programming for parents and educators as an essential part of the school’s mission (The Kordestani Family Program for Parents and Educators- KPPE).

Our goal has three parts:

  1. Offer parent engagement programs
  2. Work with early childhood educators
  3. Provide professional development for teachers at the school.

This continuous dialogue among staff, parents, and educators worldwide fosters inspiration, strengthens shared experiences, and reinforces Bing’s commitment to serving young children.

Educator Programs

The KPPE programming for educators includes seminars and workshops that examine early childhood philosophy, pedagogy, and best practices in the field. Participants collaborate on strategies for best practice, which, in turn, strengthens our early childhood community.

Educator Seminars

Seminars are designed to provide professional development for educators. The programming includes both in-person and online presentations by Bing teachers and community professionals.

Educator Summer Session

This three-day, in-person event offers the opportunity for participants to connect with other Early Childhood Educators while engaging in our programming around a specific topic.

KPPE Programming for Current Bing Families

Through informal coffee talks, in-depth seminars, and study groups on child development, our teachers share their expertise and insights and collaborate with Bing families in our shared goals for children.
