The Kordestani Family Program for Parents and Educators

Bing aspires to foster a broader community dedicated to improving the lives of young children and their families.
Our goal has three parts: offer parent engagement programs, work with early childhood educators, and provide professional development for teachers at the school.
Through informal coffee talks, in-depth seminars, and study groups on child development, our teachers share their expertise and insights and collaborate with Bing families in our shared goals for children. And in programs designed for early childhood educators, Bing teachers host seminars and workshops and share strategies for best practices in the field.
This continuous dialogue among staff, parents, and educators worldwide fosters inspiration, strengthens shared experiences, and reinforces Bing’s commitment to serving young children.
Parent programs are provided for the current Bing Nursery School community. This includes parents, extended family (such as grandparents) and caregivers.
Coffee Talks
Bing teachers, parents, and community professionals host informal conversations on child development and education.
Parent Seminars
The goal of parent seminars is to provide in-depth learning about child development topics. Bing teachers and community professionals present these seminars.
Discussion Groups
Parents are given a forum to explore a concept over several weeks. Led by Bing teachers, the examination of a topic may focus on a book, article, or TED talk.
